Power Supply Unit (PSU)

Hi, Sahabat Imagine473 'Sang Peraih Mimpi'
at this time I will share about Power supply briefly may be useful.
Amin

Power supply unit or PSU, also known as a computer device that provides power to every other computer devices. More specifically, a power supply unit is typically designed to convert alternating current linstrik (220-240V AC) to low voltage DC electric current to be consumed by the internal components of the computer. Some power supplies have a switch to change between 230 V and 115 V. Other models have automatic sensors to switch input voltage automatically, or can accept a voltage between certain limits.
So where PSU is essential to a Personal Computer. PSU became a crucial component in the continuity of the work PC, because clearly, without any power supply that works well will affect the performance of other computer hardware. And without power from PSU a PC will not turn on because it is not getting power.
Many variants of the PSU with sepesifikasi and of very diverse. Then who the manufacturer of the PSU?. Some PSU manufacturers are as follows:

1. Antec
2. AcBel
3. Hand
4. Thermaltake
5. Silverstone
6. FSP
7. Point Of View
"POV"
While for medium brand such as:
1. Venom
2. Dynapower
3. Enlight
and others.
Judging from the development of the PSU from generation to generation, PSU has several types:
1.    Power Supply AT
AT is Advanced Technology
2.    ATXPower Supply
ATXis the Advanced Technology Extended
3.    ATX Power Supply Pin12volt Plus
ATXthis is kind of an ATX power supply use a separate additional 4 Pin
4.    Power Supply ATX 24 pin
ATX power supply type is a 4-pin ATX additional combined with power 20 pin and 4 pin again in the form of an additional separate 12 volt. Power type is used on a computer LGA to Core i.
5.    Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is a power supply that has more functions is as a backup storage of electricity.

On PC PSU fitted inside the rear. Here's how to install the PSU on PC:
Put power supply in the chassis with the correct position.
Replace the 2 screws first. Try the opposite direction, and then screw the rest.
Replace 20/24 pin ATX to mobo
4 pin 12v ATX Plug to mobo
Plug Powerconector 15 pin SATA (for SATA HDD)
Install the 4 pin molex power connector for IDE (eg for DVD- ROM drive IDE).
Attach Power Connector for Casing Fan
Input power cable / cord for power supply

Between AT PSU with ATX, why ATX PSUchoose?
PSU ATX PSU is an update of the AT. It certainly has many advantages, especially in terms of speed (performance) motherboard. Using ATX PSU then after PC in the "Shutdown" windows, the computer automatically shuts down (unlike the AT PSU should be in the OFF manually
).
